problems after installing Moodle

I've installed Moodle by using Fantastico. But after installing here's what appears:

Warning: mkdir(/home/alex1949/public_html/moodle/uploaddata/cache): Permission denied in /home/alex1949/public_html/moodle/lib/moodlelib.php on line 2005

ERROR: Could not find or create a directory (/home/alex1949/public_html/moodle/uploaddata/cache)

  Well, I don't know what to do.  How can I change directpry or replace with a correct directory?  Can you help me,

Going through File Manager in CPanel or using your FTP program you will need to CHMOD the directories below to 777:

/public_html/moodle/uploaddata
/public_html/moodle/uploaddata/cache
public_html/moodle/uploaddata
public_html/moodle/uploaddata/sessions

If the two sub directories don't exist - don't create them as it is probably something that will be created by Moodle.  Unfortunately Moodle and many other applications self install with directories in secure mode.  Some of these have to be changed manually after you have successfully installed the application.  I'm not sure why that is.
