I just received a suggestion form the member of my board

"For now, how about collapsing some of the boards? There are so many, especially with all the child boards, that it's cumbersome to check all the boards that have recent posts. Maybe as the forum grows, the boards will need to get more specialized, but for now you could save us a lot of mouseclicks by combining some of them."

There's nothing that I know of that can do this however, I'll investigate and get back to you as soon as I can.
