What do you mean by optimization? Like what search engines we should submit to?

Optimization is an ever changing science, but involves many things such as selecting the proper 2-3 work phrases to be your primary 'keyword phrases' for each page and then writing copy for those pages that lets the search engines know that they are important for those particular phrases.

Selecting the right phrases and keywords is critical because you need to target wha your audience will be typing in to search engines.

There is a ton more to it, such as optimizing the HTML code so that keywords are placed near the top, (and the bottom), using H1-6 codes to designate importance, using the correct link words for all links, etc.
