After two weeks of frustration trying to get basic help on forums I stumbled on an outstanding tutorial at www.netshinesoftware.com. Highly recommended. Much better than the tutorials recommended by AlphaOne.

That's documentation for Mambo 4.5.2, not a real tutorial, but it is a good one. Last week Brad and I assembled a partial list of Mambo documentation and tutorials available, and you can find that at www.mambo.alphaone-tech.compeace Wolf

There will be more but we are working on the banner exchange that launched last week.
Also, there are no real tutorials for 4.5.2 yet. Its less than 6 months old so I am betting those start showing up in a few months. The features are much the same but the interface is a little different.

Tried to link to the guide you recently published but the link just loops back to the same page. Down for maintenance?

The majority of the links you provide are not functional.

Hmmm... That is odd because each link was checked before it was put in. And this morning I clicked about 15 random links there and had no problems. You said the majority of the links are not functional - can you provide several examples? Peace Wolf

Only a few of the links work when I am using Internet Explorer. However when I switch to FoxFire, the links work perfectly. I apparently have a glitch in IE. Some of the Mambo templates don't behave well when I'm in IE but are ok in FF?

Links not working using IE is weird to say the least - unless you have a pop up blocker enabled, because the links all open in new windows. But IE should be telling you it is blocking them.
Thanks

I am a newbie to Mambo -- but I was able to find a book for $36 (USD) called, Building Websites with Mambo at http://www.packtpub.com/mambo/bookIt is for version 4.5.2 and I find it very helpful.

We have that book in our Webmaster Store as well under Content Management Systems. Maybe I should put it on the main page?
I have heard it is a really good book.
Peace
