I installed smf throughn fantastico. Installation went ok..I think. Problem is what to do next. I created a menu item using the "link url" type. However, the only usable link I was provided was for admin. How do users get to the forum? Here are the installation stats provided by fantastico: Full installation path: /home2/durostd/public_html Public URL: http://sunriverseniors.netAdmin URL: http://sunriverseniors.net/index.php?action=adminDoesn't seem right that the Public URL is the same as the Site URL. Where did I go wrong? Regards Dennis

Its just a matter of pointing to the directory you named during installation. Since the file used is index.php, it is auto loaded by the browser.

Just FYI, set up the way you have it set up your users will end up having two logins on your system instead of one. Mambo will require one and SMF will as well.
If you want a single logon, try either implementing the Mambo-SMF bridge OR using the simpleboards module for Mambo. (See my post on that elsewhere for the line of code you need to edit to have it work with your version of Mambo
