Beta testers needed for awesome new control panel

We are about to release a brand new Cpanel module that has a ton of incredible features.

But we need beta testers!

This application will, when available, be the new Cpanel for all of our standard hosting plans.  Resellers will be allowed to lease a  license to allow them to totally customize it for all of THEIR customers as well.

We need 3-4 beta testers who have standard accounts with AlphaOne Technology or Webs 4 Christ

We need 1 reseller beta tester.  If you agree to beta test this module, you will be given a free license to use this with your customers once we have approved it for production.

I knew you were one of the folks we could count on to help out with this.  And since we just added you to our new ordering/billing system yesterday, you are all set.  Just make sure to go in to our new ordering system, (directly from your CPanel using the login email address you were sent yesterday), and make sure your info is correct.

I enabled CPanelXP for both of your accounts.

Re the Tips screen..

Shouldn't it rotate tips each time you logon?

I get same tip every day.  Most people  are not going to scroll on to next tip...instead it should rotate or randomly display...

Also, there seemed to be a glitch when "going back" from change in email quota.  Instead of going back to page with list of email accounts, it went to an index page for email transactions...Not the way I came in...

I think there are only 1-2 tips in there so far.  Or it would rotate.  With the email 'go back' it works the same way in the original Cpanel if I am understanding you correctly.

I'll have to take your word for it because I didn't use in original panel.  However, it seems like it should go back to Quota page as it would be normal to be resetting various quotas.

If it's working as intended...ok

Just providing observations as I use the new CPanel.

Your observations are greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately a lot of things in CPanel aren't as intuitive as I would like them, but it is hands down better than the other control panel alternatives.

Just upgraded my service to Reseller.  The Beta CPanel did not transfer however.  Do you take care of that?

Also, it didn't occur to me that I needed to transfer over my acct to my Reseller domain.  I want to keep my storefront site as a domain under my Reseller Acct., but I want the Reseller account to be under Computreneur.com.  Actually, I've got about 9 domains that I pointed to AlphaOne and now need to add on the Reseller acct (most are going to be parked and pointing to another domain.)

Who do I contact about that?

It actually doesn't transfer.  CPanel XP Evolution is based on customizations done by a reseller or root.  Since you are now a reseller, you 'own' your domain and domains you create under your reseller account.  Take a look at the messages under the Reseller area of the forums here for more explicit info on CPXP

Odysseyshop.net will always be your 'point of entry' to your WHM since that is the account you upgraded to reseller.  The name of the domain that your WHM is on does not matter - except to us.  It would take us almost an hour to change everything that needs to be changed administratively to make some other domain your access point to WHM.

For example, we have different domain names and sub domain names attached WHMs on each server, but AlphaOne-tech.com is our reseller account.  Most of the other domains and sub domains are not known to anyone but the sysadmins.

If you want to sell hosting as Computreneur.com, just create an account for yourself with that domain name in WHM.

You may want to go through the WHM tutorials at www.alphaone-tech.com/client/tutorials.htm to get a feel for what you will want to do to add accounts, park domains, etc.

Does this mean I cannot get the Beta CPanel now?  I had on Odysseyshop.net, but when I go into admin panel it comes up in the old version.  Do you already have a Reseller Beta tester...?

Also, to the powers that be, I would like to get in on the Reseller Training to be offered later this year.
