Ok, decided to us soholaunch as my webbuilder and i cannot get into the admin area to set it up as shown on the tutorials. I did us frontpage last week to put up an "under construction" page. could that be preventing me from using my URL + sohoadmin to fire up the webbuiler?? would appreciate some help. thanks

Yeah you can't do anything besides Soho once you install it. Frontpage is out of the question.
Go to your cpanel and UNINSTALL frontpage extensions. Then uninstall Soho using fantastico. And reinstall it again.

Ok...install soholaunch into the MAIN directory (it defaults there anyway and I am not even sure you can choose a directory for it to install into) The main directory, for the purposes of installing web enabled applications is referred to in Fantastico as /. It is really /home(#)/(username)/public_html/
You should be fine then.

If it asks you for a directory just leave it blank. You dont need to enter anything. But I dont think it will ask.
And yes you need to use Fantastico to install it.
