One of the sysadmins told me that all PostNuke users must upgrade their sites immediately to the latest version of 0.760 which was released only 2 days ago. I posted the alert bulletin under security.
Warning to anyone trying to upgrade a multisite setup! It's a nightmare!
I don't think anyone on the postnuke or pnphpbb2 support forums really know how to address the problems either.
Even fresh installs don't going so smoothly with an existing database. We're having to start from scratch and import data as tables are recreated in the new database.
If you're just running a single-site setup with no other subsites or anything running off it, you should be ok, minus any old mods that might break due to the many new code changes in .76.
Does PN have any other forums it can meld with? I hate PhpBB becz they have hacker holes every month! I shut down my forum this yr . It was just too much hassle. I mite try SMF and Mambo sometime soon. But will stay far away from phpbb.
