Adware.DateManager

WWhen Adware.DateManager is installed, it performs the following actions:

   1. Creates the following files:

          * %UserProfile%\Startup\Date Manager.lnk
          * %UserProfile%\Date Manager\Date Manager Website.lnk
          * %UserProfile%\Date Manager\Date Manager.lnk
          * %ProgramFiles%\Date Manager\INSTALL.LOG
          * %ProgramFiles%\Date Manager\Date Manager Website.URL
          * %ProgramFiles%\Date Manager\DateManager.exe
          * %ProgramFiles%\Date Manager\DateManager.exe.manifest
          * %ProgramFiles%\Date Manager\DMUninstaller.exe
          * %ProgramFiles%\Date Manager\DMUninstaller.exe.manifest
          * %Windir%\Temp\installdatemanager.exe

            Note:
          * %UserProfile% is a variable that refers to the current user's profile folder. By default, this is C:\Documents and Settings\[CURRENT USER] (Windows NT/2000/XP).
          * %ProgramFiles% is a variable that refers to the Program Files folder. By default, this is C:\Program Files.
          * %Windir% is a variable that refers to the Windows installation folder. By default, this is C:\Windows (Windows 95/98/Me/XP) or C:\Winnt (Windows NT/2000).

   2. Creates the following registry subkeys:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Gator.com\AppInfo\DateManager
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Gator.com\Date Manager
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
      \Uninstall\Date Manager

   3. May facilitate the installation of Adware.GAIN.
