Topic: Server Can't Find a Linked Content Page I Created (Read 2492 times)

I've been MAMBOing along pretty smoothly and am about set to publish my site. However, I have one sticking point. I've developed some strength training forms and training schedules I want my readers to print off and use. I scanned the forms into Word Perfect and saved them as web pages (htm). I FTP'd the pages and placed them in the "public_htm" folder. I then created a link to the pages from a content page. Unfortunately, when I click on the link I get a message telling me the file was not located on the server. Did I place the pages in the incorrect location on the server? Any guidance would be appreciated.
Regards
Dennis

Hi Dennis, The folder public_html is actually your "root", or default, directory, where your main web documents reside. You do not specifiy this directory name when accessing any documents within it. So, just take out "public_html" from your links ( http://sunriverseniors.net/Test_Doc1.htm) and all should work fine. Good luck and have a blessed evening. RV Guy

Thanks RV!
You are absolutely correct. The page still doesn't display correctly due to the image he has on the page not being uploaded onto the server. Once he corrects that he should be fine.
