I tried to publish my website but I got an error message saying something like Frontpage not supported. So I then I tried to login to the "New Server" area but it would not except my password. So I went to the Chat on Customer Access Panel and they told me to go to my Cpanel to Frontpage extensions. I tried to login to my cpanel but it would not except my new password or the old password. They gave me this link to go into http://70.85.82.84/cpanel but my password did not work their either so they told me to contact you. So I just signed in as a new user.... Here is the error message: 404 Not Found Not Found The requested URL /_vti_bin/shtml.exe/_vti_rpc was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.hopcg.com Port 80

Hi hopcg,
Ok I have found reasons for your problems.
1) You had not signed up for this forum otherwise it would not have accepted the exact same username or password that you had passed on to your Customer Service Rep. I am glad you were finally able to get into the forum to post your question.
2) I and another Tech have logged into your Cpanel without any problems using your Original username and NEW Password. Please remember that the passwords are Case Sensitive
3) In order for you to publish with Front Page you must Change your password in Front Page also.
Should you have any other problems please Post ALL questions and discussions in this forum.
Thank you for you time and patience in this matter.

A lot of things has changed on my website. All of my links on all of my pages are gone. Also my number of hits to my website has changed back to 1. Can you please resort my site back to what it was before the move to the new server. thanks...

No you can not change your password back to what it was. Your password was changed because it was either based on a dictionary word, your user name or your site name and was too easily guessed or hacked. This presents a security risk for everyone. This is why we changed many passwords during the move. thanks Wolf

I see the links on some pages and not others. The links were on all pages I looked at yesterday morning, BUT this was probably caused when we uninstalled and reinstalled your frontpage extensions in order to try and assist you since you said you could not publish. Republishing your site will fix your links. If you use a Frontpage counter you can set it to start at whatever number you like in Frontpage before you publish. But you MUST change your FrontPage password in order to publish. peace Wolf

Ok so you have managed to republish? Have you done a republish ALL not just changes?
We will look and compare both sites, but at first glance everything LOOKED the same. Did you do any subwebs w/ FP? Wait - are you using FrontPages quirky navigation feature? If so that might be an issue as well. Try re-publishing every single page. Also in FP run whatever they have to do a navigation check on the pages.

Glad to see it was just a FrontPage not being sure how to handle navigation of the pages due to the changed server.
Not sure since we dont use frontpage counters on any of our sites. Try finding a FrontPage forum by searching in yahoo or google - perhaps they will have some answers.

Angela,
Your site is restored. We can not activate the site on the old server as that server will be history by March 13th.
We have not done anything that would affect your marquee in any way. When you use a lot of features that are specific to FrontPage (their built in little things that are not truly compliant with html standards), FrontPage gets quirky when it publishes to a new server or the files are moved to a new server.
If you are not immediately seeing changes you publish to pages, or things are not showing up right, follow our instructions here and flush your DNS cache. Or if you are using IE, delete your cookies and temporary internet files.
