I've got a troubleshooting question. If any of you have experienced this let me know where to start. I have a site that has been running for some time. I have setup some email addresses on that domain. From within this organization I can access these email accounts with webmail fine. But when I manually configure the accounts in Outlook for POP3 or use the auto script setup from CPanel I have an issue connecting to the server. The outlook client keeps popping up and asking for the password. I know the password is correct because it works for webmail. I'm thinking it might be a firewall issue but not sure what to check. The router is Comtrend ADSL router. I'll look up the configuration settings if someone can give me a direction on what to be looking for. Scott

Hmmm...
When you input the password at the prompt does it accept it and then download the mail? Are you using the entire email address as the logon information?

When I key the password it just immediately pops back up and asks for the password again. I know it is correct because it works in webmail. This occurs on 2 separate computers inside the organization (on the same network) is why I was leaning towards the firewall direction.
I am using the complete email address for the username.

Have you tried the same user name and password in outlook on a computer that is not behind a firewall?
To be honest I have not heard anyone having firewall issues with email before, but that doesn't mean it can not or does not happen.
