Alpha 2 Move Has Begun

We began migrating accounts off of the Alpha 2 server last night.

If you have received e-mail that your account has been moved, please be SURE to check your website carefully and report any problems you have here in the forums.  Please DO NO report problems related to the move in our Technical Support Center!  The techs in there are not at all involved in the move and MAY give you inaccurate information because of this.

So far, we have moved over 200 accounts to Phoenix and none of them has experienced any more than 20 minutes of downtime during the move.  Most accounts experience less than 5 minutes of downtime.

Please let us know if there are any issues for you during and after the move so we can assist you and/or make corrections.

The Alpha 2 move has been completed except for a couple of accounts (you guys know who you are).

Our level 1 techs in the Tech Support Center now have access to Phoenix, our new server, and can assist you with any problems not related to the move.

We will keep the Help Center Live Chat operational (you can see the link on the Customer Access Panel) for questions and problems directly related to the move, and encourage each of you to use these Forums as much as possible since they will be checked regularly by the techs involved directly with the move.

We thank you all for your cooperation and patience over the past 3 weeks as we did this migration slowly.  Being able to do it in this way allowed us to provide you with less down time, less issues after the move and more prompt support to your issues here in the forums.

Omega 1 will be turned off sometime between today and Tuesday. (In the unlikely event everyone actually HAS already changed their DNS records at their registrars so resolution is complete, we will turn off early)
