OK Like many of you I have rec. an e-mail talking about making sure that our websites are updated with the latest security patches. I am using Nuke 7.5 (installed standard). I can't find any "updates" though I visited several of the sites that should have "Security fixes".
Can someone enlighten me as to what patches we are talking about? or are we talking about things like Sentinel?

I was running Php-Nuke until this summer and I am guessing Sentinel or the admin lock fix. But I stopped php nuke and went to mambo in june because nuke was constantly having security problems and bug fixes. Mambo has not but that made me forget to check every couple weeks like I was checking every few days on php nuke. I see now mambo has security patch that I have missed.
Nuke Cops should have latest patches and Sentinel, etc.

Yes Equalizer, you need to have Sentinel or one of the other security modules in place ASAP. If you are running into a problem with the 48 hour deadline we gave you, please e-mail me or webmaster@alphaone-tech.com and let us know how much longer you will need. I agree with Vertigo - Php-Nuke is not only a real dog on server resources, but the constant patches and upgrading made us stop adding webmaster resources into our php-nuke system about 4 months ago and we are working on moving everything to Mambo. We considered Post-Nuke, but it still has some glitches that concern us, and Mambo is based off of a commercial product and seemingly a lot more stable. Peace Wolf
