We have had 2 people write complaining that they have not been able to access their website in days. Since we immediately make sure every website IS accessible following its migration to Phoenix, the problem is NOT with the server or the site, but most likely related to a users home PC caching DNS records OR caching sites.
We again advise that you flush your DNS cache to make sure you are accessing your site on the new server. In Windows, do the following:
Select Accessories from your Menu Select Command Prompt at the command prompt type ipconfig /flushdns hit enter
If you are STILL having problems, delete all cookies and cached pages from your browser - this is especially a source of problems with Internet Explorer.
If you have problems after that - contact your ISP and explain to them that their name servers are not keeping current DNS records and you are unable to access a particular site. Give them your site name so they can assist you.
Peace

We have now had 3-4 people who are telling us that they or their users are having a hard time accessing their sites. THis is usually due to DNS caching on the user's PC OR their ISP caching for too long a period of time. If flushing the DNS cache as desciribed in the previous message does not work, they may have to contact their ISP. Though usually the ISP claims it is not their problem. If you OR your users are having problems accessing your site, please post the site URL here and have folks from here try accessing it. In each case we have tested connecting to the site that reported problems using www.siteuptime.com from 3 locations around the world. Each time connection was successful. This indicates it is NOT a problem with the internet , our server or your website - its specific to certain user(s) or ISPs peace Wolf
