If you are using the SEF module for your Mambo or Joomla site, and your site has stopped working with the switch to PhpSuexec, go into your admin panel and REMOVE the module. SEF authors have not made it compliant with Phpsuexec security.
Once you remove the module, make sure that you have removed any .htaccess files in the working directory.

For what its worth, I found a fix for Joomla sites using SEF component on servers running PhpSuexec. Go here: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php?topic=190620.msg903244 - on the official Joomls Forum. Commenting out a single line on the .htaccess file seems to solve the issue. I tried it on one of my sites and it worked. I am a big fan of URLs that make sense so I hope there are no hidden complications to this fix. Be Blessed, Tom
